Ligatura Pitching

LIGATURA Pitchings 2015
Is a series of meetings of artists with an international jury, which will judge projects of their comics.
The idea of those meeting is to promote the most interesting artist and publish the winner work or works. The meeting are short, 5-minutes long presentations of ideas for an album, series or a shorter comics form. The presentations may also be a mixed media presentation, a presentation of drafts or finished storyboards or a scenario.

Arists can apply to LIGATURA Pitchings till 15th April, 2015:.
Only 10 artists will be chosen among all the applications and invited to take part in the LIGATURA Pitchings. Will be reimbursed for the costs of travel to Poznań and will have an accommodation during the LIGATURA the Comic Culture Festival.
LIGATURA Pitchings will be held  4th July, 2015.
Entrance only for accredited guests invited by the organizers.

Judges of Ligatura Pitching 2015


Alberto García Marcos (Bilbao, Spain, 1973) is one of the founders of the web site, that has become a reference in Spain in the comic field since 2006. He has been writing since then about comics both online and in many printed magazines (Rockdelux, Quimera, Dolmen) and books (Supercómic, Panorama, Del tebeo al manga). He has took part in many panels and roundtables about comics, has teached courses and has been jury in comic contests. In 2012 founded his own comics imprint, Entrecomics Comics, and since 2013 he also a publisher at Fulgencio Pimentel, one of the most artistic oriented publishing houses in Spain.


Espen Holtestaul, born 1965, cand. philol. University of Oslo. Co-founder and publisher at No Comprendo Press, Oslo. No Comprendo Press was founded in 1992.
